And now the end is near?

Persimmon were due to issue this statement around about this time. Then they put back the release date for this statement to mid November. Then suddenly today, they decided to release it today again? Read it and see what position, despite what they have already said to a high court judge and to a high court appeal judge, they are really in.

INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT

27 October 2008

Persimmon plc today releases its third quarter Interim Management Statement.
This report has been brought forward from the previously announced date of 18
November 2008 in view of the impact that the recent significant events in
financial markets have had on the UK housing market, in particular the further
pressure being experienced on selling prices and, consequentially, residential
land values.

I'm starting to think, more and more, that what has been said about Persimmon pulling out of Coatham, is quite possible.
